Regulatory reporting Manager
Operations is a functional unit that supports division Digital & Commerce with backoffice, middle-office, and other energy related services.In this role you will report to the Head of Operations and you will be leading a small team of regulatory reporting analysts. Responsibility of your team covers tasks related to regulatory affairs – internal surveillance over Alpiq trading activities, transaction and invoice-based reporting to European as well as national regulators. The position intersects technical, legal, and partially financial fields.
Your main responsibilities and objectives will be:
Ensure compliance with market surveillance regulations.
Report under European-wide regulations in timely and correct manner.
Monitor compliance with national regulatory reporting obligations in Eastern Europe.
Improve reporting processes and identify room for automatization.
Ensure cooperation with other departments (especially with Western regulatory reporting team, Regulatory Compliance, Front office and IT).
Communicate with internal/external partners around Europe.
Communicate with regulators, trading venues, and system vendors.
University or BA degree in technical, engineering, business or finance
Experience with energy business including insight into trading activities
Experience with regulatory reporting is an advantage
Advanced MS Excel knowledge
At least elementary SQL knowledge
Personality: analytical, solution and team-oriented, forward-looking and organized
Languages: very good English skills
